My journey with embroidery began as a personal creative sanctuary that quickly blossomed into something much more profound. Originally from Bangladesh and proudly embracing my Bengali heritage, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my handcrafted embroidery jewellery and accessories since moving to Australia in June 2016.

What started as a hobby just last year has transformed into a passionate pursuit of wearable artistry. Each of my pieces tells a story—meticulously hand-stitched with care, weaving my cultural heritage and artistic craftsmanship into unique, timeless designs. My work stands as a beautiful bridge between traditional Bengali artistic elements and contemporary Australian aesthetics.
My embroidery is more than just creating beautiful pieces—it's my way of expressing myself and sharing a part of my culture. Through my intricate thread work, I find not only personal fulfilment but also a meaningful connection to my roots while building new bonds in my Australian community.

By joining Crafting My Story, I hope to share my creativity with a wider audience and establish a sustainable practice where I can create more "guilt-free"—turning my passion into purpose. My work embodies the spirit of cultural exchange that lies at the heart of our artisanal community, where diverse backgrounds and unique stories come together through the universal language of craftsmanship.

When you wear one of my embroidered creations, you're not just adorning yourself with a beautiful accessory—you're carrying a piece of my journey, heritage, and artistic vision.
