My name is Delani Fonseka and I migrated to Australia from Sri Lanka in 1990. I am a mental health support worker and currently studying for my Master’s in Counselling. I love travelling, eating chocolate and creating artwork. I dabbled in making cakes and handmade cards in my early life but never realised my potential as an artist or a crafter. During COVID, I began to paint on canvas, make terracotta pots and hand-painted coasters and make decorative scented candles and I fell in love with doing these artworks. My dream is that one day, I would like to conduct art groups for National Disability Insurance Scheme participants.
